Mitsubishi but kept on producing DLP TVs and kept it alive even when its popularity was gone. Now Mitsubishi is planning to compete with latest trend, the 3D. Mitsubishi is introducing an 82-inch for a low price despite the 3D.
Of the three series Mitsubishi is introducing 838 is the priciest as it comes with StreamTV Internet Media and an in-built 16 speaker 5.1 Dolby Digital setup. The other series 638 starts at a low price of $1199 for a 60-inch and $1499 for 65-inch TV. The 738 series includes a Stream Tv Internet Media. What surprises is that the 60-inch 738 is priced at $200 more than the 60-inch 638 despite being the same size. Much more surprise is that the 65-inch 738 costs $300 more than the 65-inch 638. Once exception in the 738 series is that it includes an 82-incher whose price will make you think twice. It is priced at around $4,499.
